Work Begins When...
Work begins when we receive your completed order form and
photo materials (prints, negatives or
digital), with the photographer's photo permission. Be sure to including ALL contact information,
your card text,
background choice,
font selection, and the photos you wish to use.
Payment (if ordering
online)
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back.
Photos We can work from either digital files or paper photographs
(glossy prints or negatives). It
helps if card cover and inside images have the same
orientation (i.e.: both vertical or
both horizontal).
- Digital Images: must be the highest resolution/quality and saved as
uncompressed JPG files, TIFF or camera RAW
files. Original JPGs work best. For best results,
set your digital camera to its highest quality/resolution
setting.
- Paper Images:
glossy paper reprints work best. Original photographs
and negatives will be returned with your order.
Envelopes
Printed envelopes are included with all
orders. Envelopes routinely include a photo of your choice
and a return address on the envelope flap.
View samples. If you prefer a blank envelope, please
inform us. Five extra envelopes are included for every
100 cards in the order. Additional envelopes can be
purchased for 50¢ per envelope before your order is
delivered, and $1.00 after delivery. If you need
extra envelopes please indicate the quantity you need in the
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS section of your online order form.
Proofs/Previews
Proofs/previews will be provided online. You will be emailed a link to view and approve your card.
Due to the inherent variable nature of paper, ink, toner and other factors,
colors may vary somewhat. Cards Creative makes every effort to maintain
the highest color-quality standards and consistency. Nevertheless, colors
can and will vary slightly.
Artwork Approval
Artwork approval can be

913.384.1114. Changes or corrections to your announcement
AFTER final approval has been given will be billed at $75
per hour.
Timeline
Cards or initial photo options will be ready to
proof within
7 business days. Changes/corrections will be
implemented and posted within 3 business days of receipt of
request. Upon final approval, cards will be printed
and shipped within 5 business days. Total time is usually
about two to three weeks, plus shipping time.
Please add an additional 3 business days to the total time orders may take
after November 1st due to holiday demand. To guarantee your cards for
on-time Holiday delivery, we must receive your order no later than December 6th.
No order will be considered late, under any circumstances or for ay reason,
before a minimum of 12 BUSINESS days have passed from initial acknowledgement of
the order by Cards Creative to the final ship date. No order will be
considered late, under any circumstances or for any reason, until 5 business
days have passed from final approval to ship date. (Disclaimer does not
apply to Rush orders, or negotiated delivery dates.)
Rush Orders/Fees
Cards can be created, approved, and shipped within 3
business days for an additional 100% of the total order
cost.
Artwork Ownership
We cannot create a card for you without
the expressed permission of your photographer to use their
images. Although you may have paid a "Sitting Fee" and
purchased photographic prints from that “sitting”, your
photographer owns the copyrights to those images. That right
is their sole source of income. You will need to obtain
permission from your professional photographer to reproduce
their photos in your cards. You may need to pay your
photographer an additional fee for the Usage Rights to
create your cards with their images.
We give credit to all professional photography. Digital artwork created by Cards
Creative is solely owned by Cards Creative.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time. Refunds will be
prorated (at $75 per hour) based on the amount of
work finished when we receive your cancellation. If we
receive your cancellation before work begins, you will
receive a full refund less the postage to return your
photos. No refund will be given after final approval.
Receiving Your Order
When you receive your order, you
should expect the correct number of cards and envelopes, and
your original photo materials returned. If there are any
problems, please call 913.384.1114, or

whatever steps we can to address your concerns. All changes
needed to CONFORM to your final approval are FREE, including
necessary reprinting and shipping. Changes or corrections
made that DIFFER from your final approval will be billed at
$75 per hour, including costs to reprint and ship.
Custom Orders
Custom changes to the size of your card or envelope, colors
or fonts used, can be accommodated. We will gladly advise on
what changes are possible and what are prudent. Many changes
are free. Custom changes that are billed will be billed at
$75 per hour. We will give you an estimate as to what
your changes will cost.

We will never give out any of your
private information, period.
